# Territories

> The Admin Dashboard Territories tab — the distribution regions assets are localized and delivered for, with their languages and countries.

The **Territories** tab on the [Admin Dashboard](/features/admin-dashboard) manages the distribution regions assets are localized and delivered for. Each [territory](/glossary) ties a region together with its languages and countries. Because groups and permissions are scoped by territory, this list defines the regions access can be granted for.

## Columns

| Column              | What it is                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 |
| ------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| **Name** & **Code** | The region and its short code (for example `AU` for Australia, or `AC` for *All Countries*).                                                                                                                                               |
| **Standard**        | The broadcast [video standard](/glossary) for the region — **PAL** or **NTSC**.                                                                                                                                                            |
| **Languages**       | The [languages](/features/admin/languages) assigned to the territory (for example *German (GER)* for Austria, or *Flemish (FLE), French/Flemish (PFR-FLE)* for Belgium). Drawn from the **Languages** tab — the platform-wide master list. |
| **Countries**       | The countries that make up the territory.                                                                                                                                                                                                  |

A territory can be a real region (Albania, Argentina) or a logical grouping such as *All Countries* or a management scope like *ASIA-PAC Manager*.
